In Memory of Robert Stepp
Bob was a New York native for 50 years, providing Marilyn, his daughter, with her training at an early age and instilling in her an appreciation of the arts through his own participation as a vocalist in New York bands and as an active church choir member. He served in the Armed Services in the Philippines in WWII and retired to Abaco, Bahamas for 16 years. Bob, his wife Elaine, and daughter Marilyn moved to Brevard County in 1982
and together they started Special Spotlight Theatre. In years since, Bob has served in many capacities, including President, Chairman of the Board and Master of Ceremonies.

Trena's daughter Rebecca has been in Special Spotlight since 2002 and Trena has been on the board since 2004. She also makes the costumes and props. Trena is the stage manager for all of our shows. Trena is a bookkeeper for Henderson and Futchko, law firm here in Melbourne and also a coach for the Brevard county Special Olympics.
His daughters have been in the program for 3 years. He works for Indian River county and also a coach with Special Olympics.

Teresa's daughters Rebecca and Bridget danced with SST. Teresa was asked to join the board 2010 to help with PR/Marketing after producing a profitable fundraiser for us. Teresa is a Supportive Living coach, owns A Better Life Homecare Inc. and has worked with the Agency for Persons with Disabilities for the state of Florida for the past 16 years.
Jan Thompson Secretary
Jan's son Steven and daughter Stacie have been with Special Spotlight for over 10 years. Jan works for the Brevard Public Schools and is also a Brevard County Special Olympics Coach.
Eileen daughter Cierra joined our program a couple of years ago to help. She is now an important member of our dancers. Eileen is a ESE teacher at Palm Bay elementary.
